Private Counselling Service

Hello...
I support adults of all ages who are dealing with anxiety, panic, and chronic worry. I also offer services to those touched by bereavement and grief, or struggling with low mood, major life transitions, and difficult relationship dynamics. Whether you’re managing the impact of past experiences, navigating a huge change, or feeling overwhelmed without knowing why, I would like to support you in making sense of it and finding a way forward.

Therapy gives a space to slow down, untangle what’s going on beneath the surface, and find more clarity and steadiness in how you meet daily life.

If you are living with chronic anxiety and it feels like you're always bracing for something - exhausted, stuck in overthinking, or struggling to feel at ease, I would love to work with you to build some strategies and tools for managing and overcoming your fears and minimise anxiety and panic attacks.
Sessions are offered remotely on Zoom or by phone, which allows for flexible, consistent support from wherever you feel most at ease.
I follow the BACP’s ethical framework, keeping your autonomy, safety, and lived experience at the centre of our work. My style is calm, warm, grounded, and collaborative. I offer reflection, compassion, and space to help you move forward in a way that feels safe and manageable.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or ready to work through what’s holding you back, I’m here to support you.

HOW IT WORKS
ONLINE THERAPY
Having regular sessions, especially in the first stage of your counselling, is crucial, and working online offers flexibility and consistency from wherever you feel most at ease. This is highly effective and helps maintain continuity during busy or unpredictable times, plus you save time and money travelling.

I work via Zoom, which is a secure online video conferencing platform, also occasionally by phone.
NOT SURE IF COUNSELLING IS FOR YOU?
If you’re not sure if I'm the right counsellor for you, or if you’ve never had counselling before, you can have a chat with me first with no obligation at all to book. I offer a free 20-minute telephone call and this is an informal conversation and an opportunity for us to discuss what you hope to achieve through counselling and answer any questions you might have. It helps to highlight the challenges you are currently facing and is also a chance for you to get a sense of how I work and decide if you feel comfortable talking to me.

If you are new to counselling you might not know what you currently need, and I am always happy to signpost or provide you with other relevant resources if my service is not what you may need right now.

You can book your free call using the WhatsApp button, the online form below, or by reaching out via email and we can arrange a time that works best for you.

Please note that Recentre Therapy is not a crisis line and if you are having a mental health emergency please contact your local crisis line or 999 in case of a medical emergency.
